Our services

One of life’s rites of passage into adulthood is taking the time and care to plan for what will happen to those you love when you are gone. Although it’s never easy or comfortable, if you have family who are counting on you, and especially if you have young children, you need to plan for your eventual death or incapacity. We can help you make those tough decisions and have the proper planning documents in place, so that you can feel confident that you have done right by those who are depending on you.

We help you find peace of mind for what life has in store, including:

Wills

Living Trusts

Advance Healthcare Directives

Powers of Attorney

Protection Planning for Children

…and more

There are many factors that go into what kind of plan you need to best protect yourself, your loved ones, and your assets. Some of these factors include whether you are married, and if so, whether that marriage is a first marriage or not, whether you have children, whether those children are children of your current marriage or a prior relationship, and whether you intend to have more children. If you are single, it matters whether you have children, whether you are in a long-term relationship, and whether you plan to get married and/or have more children. For those with children, it matters whether the children are minors, and whether they are disabled. Your optimal plan also depends on your assets - how much you have, and in what form those assets are held (for example, retirement accounts vs. real estate). There are no cookie-cutter answers, and we will take the time to get to know your circumstances, your concerns, and your life situation to recommend the very best plan for you.

Further, if your life circumstances change, you can rest assured that we are always available to give you information and advice, and, if necessary, we can draft updates to your plan, for a flat fee which will be discussed prior to your decision as to whether to go forward with any changes.

“It was such a pleasure to work with Julie. She took the time to consider every detail and answer every question we had so that she could develop the best plan for us. We feel at ease knowing that a plan is in place for our children should something unexpected happen to us.”
