Hello, I’m Julie Richardson, a graduate of U.C. Berkeley Law School, and owner of Legal Pathways, an Estate Planning Law Office. I have 17 years’ experience as an attorney, and offer will and trust planning in Modesto, CA. As a divorced mother of a 10-year-old, I know the importance of protecting your loved ones by being prepared in the event that something tragic happens. Understanding the estate planning process and setting up a will and other legal documents can be both confusing and overwhelming. I am here to bridge the gaps, explain all of your options in detail, and help you make the best possible decisions for you and your family.
- My standard of excellence. I am committed to meeting the needs of my clients and ensuring their complete satisfaction. I work hard to provide top notch service for you and your loved ones at fair market rates. I bill my clients with a flat fee that is discussed and agreed upon in advance, and there are no hidden costs or extra charges. For answers to some of the most common questions about my services just see my FAQ page here.
- Beyond the call of duty. I want to provide my clients with the best possible customer service standards. I will gladly offer a FREE informational seminar on estate planning for a group of 4 or more anywhere within roughly 40 miles of Modesto, CA. This is a way for me to tell you more about how my firm works and give you a thorough explanation of the components that make up an estate plan. These components typically include a will, a revocable living trust, a power of attorney, and an advance healthcare directive. I offer this seminar completely free of charge because I care about the people in my community and want them to be able to count on me for their estate planning needs. I am passionate about educating people on their options for estate planning, which is something that isn’t taught in school but is vitally important.
- Giving back to the community. I truly believe in paying it forward, and am an active participant in the local community in Modesto. I was recently named to the board of directors at FCASMC (Funeral Consumers Alliance of Stanislaus and Merced Counties). This is a completely volunteer run organization that works to protect your rights to choose a dignified, meaningful, and affordable funeral. They achieve this goal through unbiased education, public outreach, group presentations, and member benefits. I volunteer my time with this organization because I truly believe in their mission and support their work.
If you would like to join the FCASMC, a lifetime membership is just $35. The FCASMC is not a business and does not sell a product or service. It is a non-profit organization and is only supported by membership fees and community contributions. As an FCASMC member, you will receive discount prices with local, trusted funerary establishments.
It is crucially important that you have a legal plan in place to protect you and your loved ones in the event that a disaster happens. You will want the security of having designated the right people to take care of your children so they don’t end up with Child Protective Services or in foster care. You need to legally designate someone to make critical financial and medical decisions for you in the event that you are incapacitated and unable to make those decisions for yourself. If you are ready to get a two-hour free, no obligation estate planning appointment, we are ready to help. Just call Legal Pathways at (209) 529-1085 or contact us online at your convenience.
